Our Staff
Jan joined Lavé MD in 2005 as Insurance Coordinator but she is now Project Coordinator for Dr. Vanderpool. She is a native of Hendersonville and has two married children and three grandchildren. She has had a number of years experience in the medical field. As Project Coordinator she does research on the varicose vein procedures we perform at the office.
Jan’s favorite procedure is the Erbium followed with the Obagi Skin Care Line. She states, “The Erbium procedures really made my skin so refreshed. It got rid of all the sun damage and brown spots on my face. I had a series of 4 and each procedure just made my skin look healthy. I also use the Obagi Skin care line and it has completely transformed my skin.”
She believes what sets Lavé MD apart from other medical offices and spas is the professional surrounding as well as the honesty and standards both Dr. Vanderpool and Laurie have set for the office. She says, “All the girls are great to work with and have great expertise in their fields. Everyone at Lavé MD wants the clients to have a very pleasant experience each time they come in.”
Angie joined Lavé Md in 2007 as the Director of Marketing. She received her BS in Marketing and Management from Lipscomb University. She was born and raised in Hopkinsville, Kentucky but has been in Nashville for 8 years. She lives here with her husband and dog.
Angie's favorite service is the microdermabrasion paired with the Kinerase skin care line. She says, "My skin has never been smoother and my makeup goes on better because of the smooth skin."
She believes what sets Lavé Md apart from other medical offices and spas are Dr. Vanderpool and Laurie. Both are exceptional people and wonderful Christians. It is a blessing to come to work in an office where people care about another, support another and strive to make sure all clients and patients have a great experience.
Dot joined Lavé MD in 2004 as Office Coordinator. She is a native of Nashville and has worked in office management for the past twenty years. She has two married children and one grandchild, Allie, who is four years old.
Dot's favorite procedure is Thermage® paired with the Obagi Skin Care line. She states, "I had the Thermage® procedure two years ago and would recommend it to anyone wishing to achieve "a refreshed look." Both the Obagi skin care line and the Franché mineral makeup line are exceptional in achieving the desired results you want as well."
Dot says what sets Lavé Md apart from other medical offices and spas is it starts at the top. "Dr. Vanderpool and Laurie are the best. We are very selective in staffing. I feel so fortunate to work with everyone at Lavé MD. You can't find a better group of people, both personally and professionally. We want all our clients and patients to have a wonderful experience with each visit to Lavé MD.
Michelle has lived in Nashville since 1990 and has been in the medical field for 4 years. Following graduation, she moved to California and became passionate about helping others. While working as a dental assistant she obtained her EMT-B completion. She moved back to Nashville a few years later and furthered her education. She graduated with a 4.0 from Remington Colleges’ Medical assistant program. She joined Lavé MD in 2006 and is one of Dr. Vanderpool’s medical assistants.
Michelle’s favorite product is the Effaclar K acne treatment. She struggled with acne all her life and has been of every pill imaginable, even Accutane and has found much more consistent results with the Effaclar K acne treatment. She uses the Kinerase product line in conjunction with the acne treatment and says, “My skin has never looked better, and sometimes that can make the world of difference!”
She believes what sets Lavé Md apart from other medical offices and medical spas is the staff. She states, “I have never been around more genuine people in my life. Everyone that works at Lavé Md wants to be here and loves what they do."
Libby decided to pursue aesthetics after becoming burned out in the sales and marketing world. She attended Tennessee Technology Center of Nashville where she earned an Aesthetic License. She joined Lavé Md in 2006 as one of two aestheticians. Libby was born and raised in Nashville and lives with her husband and two dogs.
Libby loves the Obagi Skin Care System. She says it transformed her skin by evening out her skin tone, controlling breakouts and creating a youthful glow. She likes the laser hair removal as it eliminates the need for shaving! She also really likes our facials, microdermabrasion and the erbium laser treatment.
She believes what sets Lavé Md apart from other medical offices and spas is our staff. She says, “We set our standards high and go the extra mile to make our clients feel comfortable, appreciated, and important! We have the utmost integrity, honesty and compassion!!!”
Pam has worked in the medical field for 20 years around the Nashville area. She joined Lavé MD in 2006 working in the billing department. She has been married for 37 years and has 2 daughters and a granddaughter.
Pam’s favorite service that we offer is Thermage®. She says, “I like Thermage® for its ability to give you a freshened up, younger look involving a non-invasive procedure.
